QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE:
i)         L.L.M. or equivalent qualification recognized by the Higher Education Commission having two years active practice as an Advocate; or
ii)        L.L.B. or equivalent qualification (with 50% aggregate marks) recognized by the Higher Education Commission having four years active practice as an Advocate.
NOTE:

ELIGIBILITY FOR CIVIL SERVANTS:       
Civil Servants are not eligible to apply for the posts of Assistant District Attorney (BS-17).    

ELIGIBILITY: Both Male & Female candidates domiciled in any District of the Province of the Punjab.       
NO. OF CHANCES:   Only 03 chances are allowed to a candidate to appear in the examination/test
                             for the posts of Assistant District Attorney (BS-17).       
ZONAL ALLOCATION:  On all Punjab basis.        

          A candidate must obtain 33% marks to qualify the written paper and 50% marks in the interview to be finally declared successful.

1.         FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS MUST BE ATTACHED WITH THE APPLICATION FORM:-
a)    Attested photocopies of all Educational Certificates such as Matric / Intermediate issued by Controller of Examinations and /B.A. /LL.B/LLM/Post Graduate etc. degrees issued by Controller of Examinations and countersigned by Vice Chancellor/Chancellor of University.

b)    Attested photocopy of Valid Certificate of Domicile of the candidate in any district of the Punjab Province issued by District Magistrate/District Coordination Officer.

c)    One latest Passport size photograph ( Both for Male and Female candidates ) attested by at least a Govt. officer of BS-16 or above who should give his/her full name and designation and affix his/her rubber stamp and signatures  to be pasted on the application at the proper place.

d)    Experience Certificate on the prescribed form PPSC-4 attached with the application form, must be obtained from the President High Court Bar Association/District Bar Association/Sub-Division Bar Association duly countersigned and affixing rubber stamps of the District and Sessions Judge concerned (in original), showing date of membership.

e)    Punjab Bar Council's upto date/valid registration certificate showing the date of enrolment.
2.       Incomplete, wrongly filled in and unsigned applications will be rejected summarily.

3.       Candidates must submit their applications complete in all respects duly supported with the attested photocopies of the required certificates.

4.       All qualifications and conditions of eligibility must have been completed on or before the closing date of submission of applications.

5.       Attested photocopies of all the relevant documents must be attached with the application form.  However, the original certificates will be produced by the candidates at the time of Interview.

6.       Candidates must carefully read and follow “Instructions to Candidates” attached with the application form for filling the application.  However, candidates must complete all the requirements mentioned in this advertisement even though these may not be mentioned in the application forms.

QUALIFICATIONS:        Master's degree (at least  2nd division) in the relevant subject or equivalent qualifications. Provided that for the subject of English, M.A. 3rd division with diploma in English from Allama Iqbal Open University will also be eligible.

PAY:    i)          BS-17
ii)            Rs:4000/- p.m. in case of posting at Tehsil  Headquarters & below (as Additional Allowance).

AGE:                21 to 28 years + 05 years General age relaxation in upper age limit as per Government of the Punjab (S & GAD) Notification No. SOR-1(S&GAD)9-36/81dated 04-11-2006   = 33  years on 05-09-2011.

ELIGIBILITY:    Male and Female as detailed above domiciled in any district of the Punjab Province.


IMPORTANT NOTE:
I)          One paper written test of   MCQ (multiple choice questions) type of Master's level 02 hours duration with the syllabus “comprehension of the subject” shall be conducted to shortlist the candidates as per policy of PPSC.

II)          A candidate applying for more than one subject must submit application in each subject separately.

III)         Candidates applying on disabled quota will be eligible for open merit seats. However, selection of such candidates against the disabled quota shall be made on the basis of Inter-se-merit, irrespective of their subjects.

IV)        Candidates applying on minority quota will be eligible for            open merit seats. However, selection of such candidates against the minority quota shall be made on the basis of Inter-se-merit, irrespective of their subjects.

V)         The appointee will have to stay at least three years at the first place of posting.


GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

1.         Applicants are required to submit ONLINE Application Forms by the closing date - which is 05-09-2011.  In addition Print Outs of ONLINE filled forms duly signed will also be sent to PPSC along with following documents:- 

            a)         Original Treasury receipt of Rs.400/- under head: “C02101-ORGANIZATIONS OF STATE- EXAMINATION FEE REALIZED BY THE PUNJAB PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISION”. Challan Form is   available on website.
            b)         Matriculation Certificate, showing date of birth and in case of 'O' Level, equivalent certificate from Inter Board Committee of Chairmen, Islamabad and date of birth given in school leaving certificate.
            c)         Intermediate Certificate/ 'A' level along with equivalent qualification.
            d)         Degree /Detailed marks of Graduation and Master in the relevant subject duly issued by Controller of             Examinations showing total/obtained marks and             percentages on or before the closing date. In case detailed marks are not produced then minimum passing marks will be considered.
            e)         Domicile certificate of relevant district of Province of Punjab  issued on or before the closing date.
            f)          In case of Government Servants, the Departmental Permission Certificate (available on web site )duly signed/stamped by the concerned Department.
            g).        Copy of valid C.N.I.C.
            h).        In case of disabled person, the disability certificate duly issued by competent authority of Social Welfare Department.

            i).         If the applicant claims the award of additional marks, allowed to one unemployed child of a civil servant of Punjab Government who was incapacitated or died while in service, he should select 'Yes' otherwise 'No'. If             yes, following documents should be submitted along with the application form, otherwise the claim for such marks will not be accepted:-

                        i)          Death Certificate of the parent from the Corporation/Municipality concerned.

                        ii)          Certificate from the concerned Department showing Name and Designation of the Incapacitated or deceased Punjab Government Servant.
                        iii)         Form B of Registration of the family of the Incapacitated or deceased Civil Servant.
                        iv)         Affidavit from the candidate that he/she is un-employed and that he/she has neither already availed the benefit of additional marks nor shall avail this concession in future.
                        v)         Affidavit from other brothers and sisters of the candidate declaring solemnly that they surrender their right of grant to additional marks in favour of the candidate and neither they have already availed this benefit nor shall claim the same in future.

2.         Candidates are required to submit their filled HARD COPY PRINT OUT application forms along with all necessary documents within one week after the closing date i.e. 12-09-2011 at one of the following Commission's Offices:
